Relation During Books Blood Feud (Drake Chronicles #2)
It's been centuries since Isabeau St. Croix barely survived the French Revolution. Now she's made her way back to the living and she must face the ultimate test by confronting the evil British lord who left her for dead the day she turned into a vampire. That's if she can control her affection for Logan Drake, a vampire whose bite is as sweet as the revenge she seeks.
The clans are gathering for Helena's royal coronation as the next vampire queen, and new alliances are beginning to form now that the old rifts of Lady Natasha's reign have started to heal. But with a new common enemy, Leander Montmarte—a vicious leader who hopes to force Solange to marry him and usurp the power of the throne for himself—the clans must stand together to preserve the peace he threatens to destroy.
This second adventure in the Drake Chronicles—told from both Logan's and Isabeau's perspectives—has all the same butt-kicking action, heart-pounding romances and snarky humor that readers loved in Hearts at Stake, as well as exciting new revelations about the vampire dynasties to keep readers coming back for more.

This book might be more entertaining for... Junior-highers? Meh, probably not even then. The first book was entertaining enough that I got the rest of the series from the library, but after reading this one, I'm done. I'm taking them all back and am thankful I didn't spend money on them. I'm not sure what it was, because I'm a pretty big YA fan/fic nerd, but this was just... not very captivating. I suppose I don't care for the characters at all. In fact, I was hoping they might die to break theThis is a really good series. Another action packed and witty installment that had plenty of romance. Alxyandra Harvey has a interesting and unique take on vampires with all the different types. In this one we learn more about the Hounds. This is the story of Logan and Isabeau and again we get dual narration which I love. I like knowing what both characters are thinking and feeling. We also get flashbacks from Isabeau past before she was turned which didn't really hold my interest like the rest
Source: I own this book. Cost: Free gift Title: Blood Feud Series: The Drake Chronicles #2 Author: Alyxandra Harvey Overall Rating: 3.5 starsThis book follows the perspective of another Drake child, Logan and a two century old Hound Vampire Princess called Isabeau. As the coronation of Queen Helena draws closer, those loyal to Lady Natasha aren't happy and everyone's on guard to protect the Drake family's lives. However, the loyals may have a plan to make the vampires fight one another.

I couldnt wait to enter into the Drakes world again; the first time I read it and when I chose to reread the books. Instead of switching between Lucy and Solange, like Hearts at Stake, the second installment, Blood Feud, alternated between Logan Drake, one of Solanges older brothers, and Isabeau, a 232-year-old Hound. When Isabeau showed up at the caves for the coronation she was immediately drawn to Logan for his knowledge in ettique and his sense of style. Their love grew slowly, and she had
Blood Feud, the second entry in Alyxandra Harveys Drake Chronicles, shows some marked differences from Hearts at Stake. Whereas that first book was primarily a frothy, if eminently enjoyable paranormal teen romance (although it does also provide a solid introduction to the very interesting vampire world Harvey has created) Blood Feud is darker, more mature and even more engrossing.Blood Feud picks up almost immediately after the point where Hearts at Stake ends, with the seven Drake brothers and
Blood Feud, the second instalment in the Drake Chronicles, is a fun, action-packed and enjoyable read. It picks up right where the first book left off, but this time our narrators are Logan Drake, the fashion loving Drake brother, and Isabeau St.Croix, who we were briefly introduced to at the end of My Love Lies Bleeding.I have to say I warmed to Isabeau straight away. I loved learning of her extensive background and the historical aspects of her story. The flashbacks to her life in Paris during
Michelle's Review:'Blood Feud', is the 2nd book in The Drake Chronicles series. I really enjoyed reading it. Again a great little YA read. This book is Isabeau St. Croix's story and Logan is there for her. Isabeau is a Cwn Mamau , a handmaiden to Kala the Hound Shamanka. Isabeau is driven by her revenge for the man who left her in a coffin for over 200 years, saved by Kala's Hounds. Liam and Helena are to be the new King and Queen of the Vampires and need to keep the peace that is wavering
