Touring with four rockers is the thing of dreams…

At least that is what people tell me. To me those four rockers are my family. They have watched over me from the time I was five years old. Protecting me from my mother and her drunken, drug addict rages. When they made it big they still watched over me. And when my monster of a mother died they took over as my guardians.

In the six years since that happened I have watched over the four men that
mean everything to me. I take care of them just as they once took care of me. I handle all the dirty work behind the scenes of a rockers life. It isn’t always pretty. At times it came be damn near disgusting, especially when I have to get rid of their one night stands. Ugh!

Taking care of them doesn’t bother me though. I mean it’s not like I’m in love with one of them. That would be crazy. Falling for a rocker is NOT smart.

Okay, so I’m not smart. I love my guys, and one of them kind of holds my heart in his big old rocker hand. But I’m dealing. I’ve been able to keep it my little secret for years now.
I’m not, however, dealing with this bug that I seem to have caught. It scares the hell out of me. I hate doctors, but I’m suddenly more worried about finding out what is wrong with me than what the doctor might do to me.

When I get my test results back my life will never be the same again…

Way too short and lacked depth as a result. Shame 'cause I liked the characters and the premise but it only scratched the surface and I felt no emotional connection with the story and no investment with the characters. Won't be continuing.Actual 2.5 stars.

This was a fun read for me. Yes, it was kinda cheesy and the premise was pretty unrealistic, but sometimes I'm a fan of cheesy of unrealistic. What little girl wouldn't love to have four guys looking out for her like these guys looked out for Emmie, one of them being her life long crush that turns into a rich famous rockstar?Total crap and fantasy...basically the whole reason I like to read. Already downloaded the next one!

Emmie is a broken and battered little girl. Drink and drugs are more important to her mother than anyone or anything. Her only stability throughout her childhood was the older boys who lived in the trailers near her. 10 years her senior, Nik, Jesse, Drake and Shane, took her in and claimed her as theirs, looking after her as though she was their little sister.'They saw me when I was 5, took me under their wing, protected me even though they were 10 years older than me. These guys were my family

3 stars This was a quick and fun rockstar read about Ember aka Emmie Jameson. Emmie has been friends with the band members of Demon Slayer since she was a little girl. But they're more than friends, they're the only family she has ever known. Coming from an abusive household, these four guys are the only ones who have ever taken care of her and had her back. She is a little younger than all of them, so while she's been in love with one of the members, she's not sure if he sees her that way.

Such a great book ,It's a shame this isn't a series I would Love to get to know more about the band members Because they all sound amazing ...This book has a Sexy,caring : Amazing Characters ,,, I Loved how protective the guys are ... and how much they care for Emmie ,,,and I just ...So ... Yeaaaaaah ... I wish there was more :(

4,5 StarsSo good.. and i mostly hate short stories but this one was different..I loved it.. It made me feel so many things, i couldn't put it down!! Em was amazing, very strong and had some balls to put up with those hardcore rockers for so long.. But hey they are family..Nik was good too.. I have some complains though.. What happened in that mall, or after when she found him with those girls.. I wanted to slap him so hard realy, but you could tell he was in love with her so i have to forgive

2 to 2 1/2 starsThis book is like one of those B-rated movies that you can't believe you LOVED. I can't give it more than a few stars because the prose and execution left much to be desired, but I sure had fun reading it.
