Description Conducive To Books Betrayals (Strange Angels #2)
She’s no angel...Poor Dru Anderson. Her parents are long gone, her best friend is a werewolf, and she’s just learned that the blood flowing through her veins isn’t entirely human. (So what else is new?)
Now Dru is stuck at a secret New England Schola for other teens like her, and there’s a big problem—she’s the only girl in the place. A school full of cute boys wouldn’t be so bad, but Dru’s killer instinct says that one of them wants her dead. And with all eyes on her, discovering a traitor within the Order could mean a lot more than social suicide...
Can Dru survive long enough to find out who has betrayed her trust—and maybe even her heart?

I really, really enjoyed this. Unlike Strange Angels it started with good momentum and kept it up throughout, incorporating some standout action scenes. Dru was slightly down beat but I felt this was to be expected considering everything thats happened recently and gave it a sense of realism. Christophe was still intriguing but I want to see more of him in the next book otherwise I think its just going to become annoying there are so many questions that need answering. I absolutely loved howBetrayals did what its title suggests. Honestly, I expected much more and it just left me disappointed. It felt like all the character had a pretty hard case of OOC plague and I can't say I liked any of them here. Dru entirely lost her badassery and the tough girl from the first book disappeared and became a total weakling. It felt like she had an identity crisis actually, which very well may have been true. (The only thing I thought was interestingly written at the beginning was the portrayal of
Of the three books in this series thus far, I think Betrayals is my favourite. The story flow is not as slow as in the first book, there is a lot more action and the narration of Dru's inner feelings about both the boys in her life sounds convincingly like the thoughts of a tough-but-confused teenager. However, all is not perfect, as is all too common these days. First off, Dru's still being irritatingly obtuse in this book, as also in the third one, so maybe it's a personality flaw I'm going to

Betrayals is the second book in the Strange Angels series and picks up right where the series titled first book left off. Dru and Graves have just arrived at the Schola Christophe sent them to, and it doesn't take long for Dru to get herself in to trouble. Wulfen and djamphirs don't get along, add in super strength and fast healing with testosterone fueled teenage boys, and fights are a common occurrence. Dru isn't one to back away from a fight, but she doesn't yet have the strength or healing
Fast-paced, action-packed, full of mystery and hidden secrets, you won't be able to put that book down!Betrayals is the second engagement in the Strange Angels series and while I liked the first book, I LOVED the second book.First book ends when Dru gets to the Schola and the second books picks where we left off, Dru is in a Schola full of delinquent djamphir and wulfen teenage boys, and even though Christophe promised she would be safe there, something is wrong.Teachers won't let her learn
I guess I would go 3.75 stars with this book. I liked it better than Strange Angels; I felt like more happened in this book than in the first one. In this book, Dru and Graves are placed in a Schola, ostensibly for their protection. But it rapidly becomes clear that Dru is not safe, and she has no idea who she can trust. I liked how this incarnation of the werwulf and nosferatu/dhjampir mythologies are fleshed out (particularly how the wulfen make consensus decisions in order to "hunt in
Betrayals is the second novel in the Strange Angels series by Lili St. Crow A.k.a Lilith Saintcrow. Lilith is one of my favorite authors, and I was shocked that I haven't read any of her YA novels yet. I guess I just wasn't in a YA reading mood, but after reading the synopsis for this series, I had to pick it up!I read Strange Angels(book 1) and Betrayals(book 2) within a day and a half. I was hooked. Strange Angels was a good read, but betrayals was amazing! I heard Jealousy is even better.
