First up I will say I listened to the audio book for Death Du Jour which I believe improved my enjoyment of the second installment in the Temperance Brennan series. The story itself was well paced and full of new information that kept cropping up everywhere which meant that not all of the story took place in Montreal, some took place in Brennan's home state. I wasnt too convinced after the first one, but glad I continued on with the series because this book was way more entertaining.

Have never read Kathy Reichs before, but have practically a shelf of her books in my library and one at the crib, so when I had run out of books up there I picked up this from the reserve pile. An enjoyable crime read with enough twists to make it interesting and not too boring with the forensic detail, nice easy read.

I absolutely love all of her books!! I own the whole 14 book series of Temperance Brennan & can't wait to own the newest one!! Currently re-reading the whole series for the 2nd time around waiting for the newest edition =)

I really enjoyed this second installment in the Temperance Brennan series. After I got over it not being exactly like the Bones series on tv, I really like the MC Tempe. In this book she goes between Quebec, Canada and Charlotte SC. I loved the island of primates in the book too.
