Narration In Pursuance Of Books Rogue Wave (Waterfire Saga #2)
Serafina, Neela, Ling, Ava, Becca, and Astrid, six mermaids from realms scattered throughout the seas and freshwaters, were summoned by the leader of the river witches to learn an incredible truth: the mermaids are direct descendants of the Six Who Ruled-powerful mages who once governed the lost empire of Atlantis. The ancient evil that destroyed Atlantis is stirring again, and only the mermaids can defeat it. To do so, they need to find magical talismans that belonged to the Six.Serafina believes her talisman was buried with an old shipwreck. While researching its location, she is almost discovered by a death rider patrol led by someone familiar. . . . The pain of seeing him turned traitor is devastating.
Neela travels to Matali to warn her parents of the grave threat facing their world. But they find her story outlandish; a sign that she needs to be confined to her chamber for rest and recovery. She escapes and travels to Kandina, where her talisman is in the possession of fearsome razormouth dragons.
As they hunt for their talismans, both Serafina and Neela find reserves of courage and cunning they didn't know they possessed. They face down danger and death, only to endure a game-changing betrayal, as shocking as a rogue wave.

Review posted on Fafa's Book Corner !Beware spoilers ahead! This book series was recommended to me from my dear GR friend Alyssa ! Click on her name to read her review. After I finished reading Deep Blue I so badly wanted to read the rest of the series! I was only able to get to it now due to my reading schedule. I am happy to say that I enjoyed this! The book begins with a prologue. In the point of view of the man with fully black eyes. He watches Serafina from a mirror. He could kill her thatWow.. this cover is.. wooow! So beautiful!!!I love creative artworks and I would want this one on my shelf if only for the cover alone :)
What a perfect example of the saying, dont judge a book by its cover. Its been quite some time since I read the first book in this series, and I distinctly remember not liking it. Any fiction novel that has a dictionary in the back of it, is typically not a good sign. But, I foolishly bought the first three books all at once because the covers were so darn pretty. You can probably gather by now I didnt like this one either. Serafina is the princess of a broken empire. In the last book, we saw

My Thoughts On The Book:**PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ DEEP BLUE**The Cover:Again the cover of this book is just STUNNING! It's in the same vein as Deep Blue but all in beautiful pinks and purples this time. It's lush and rich and visually these books have got to be two of the most beautiful covers ever! The Plot Of The Story:Rogue Wave is the direct continuation of the story that was begun in Deep Blue. The six descendants of the Six-That-Ruled
4/5Yes I know it looks like it took a while for me to read a book thats essentially 300 pages, but I read it rarely (it was my book I kept at school). With that being said, even with the huge gaps of time between times I read it, I still was able to follow the story smoothly. Although I wish we got Asterin in this book plus more romance (I just am becoming a sucker for it) it was a good book.
Wow! This is such a great sequel, I'm impressed :D
Well an improvement over the first book since a lot more happened than just pointless running around. Tho it only focused on Sera and Neela 99% of the time and like wth, this is supposed to be about the six of them??? Hopefully, the other girls will come back in the third book.
